  • Carolina wren...my favorite backyard bird. I have a pair of them coming to my feeders.
  • Taken at Lone Elk Park in Valley View, MO outside of St. Louis. The animals here are very docile and don't seem the least bit bothered by humans or vehicles. It makes me sad to think that there was a time when these magestic creatures were slaughtered for their hides and left to rot on the praires and plains of the Old West.
